Fiscal Synergy Pvt. Ltd. ("Fiscal Synergy", "we", "our", "us") is a management consultancy registered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Our registered office is 102 Siddha Weston, 9 Weston Street, Kolkata 700013.
This Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, store and disclose personal data submitted through fiscalsynergy.in (the "Site") and any associated channels including email, telephone and WhatsApp.
Through the engagement-brief form, we capture: your full name, company or entity name, business email, phone number, the practice area you are evaluating, and the description of your mandate.
Through telephone and WhatsApp channels, we receive the contact details you choose to share along with any message content.
Through automated means we collect non-identifying technical information — device type, approximate location derived from IP, pages visited, referrer URL, and session interaction data — strictly to operate and improve the Site.
We process your information solely for legitimate professional purposes: to respond to your engagement enquiry, route your brief to the relevant partner, prepare a proposal where appropriate, and maintain a continuous record of our correspondence.
We do not process your data for behavioural profiling, automated decision-making with legal effect, or for any purpose unrelated to the engagement you have initiated.
Engagement briefs are stored in two systems: (a) a private internal database operated on our infrastructure, and (b) Zoho CRM (Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd., India data centre) where briefs are recorded as leads for partner triage. Both systems are access-controlled and segregated from public Site traffic.
Analytics signals are processed by PostHog (analytics platform) in aggregated form. We do not enrich, sell, syndicate or resell mandate information under any circumstance.
The Site uses functional cookies required for navigation and lightweight analytics cookies that measure aggregate site performance. If marketing or advertising tags are introduced (for example, Google Ads conversion tracking) the corresponding cookies will be activated and disclosed in this section before deployment.
You may disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may degrade specific functional features of the Site but will not prevent you from initiating an engagement via telephone, WhatsApp or direct email.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Limited disclosure occurs only in the following circumstances: (a) to engaged sub-processors strictly necessary to operate the Site and CRM (currently Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd. and PostHog Inc.), (b) where required by competent regulatory or judicial authority, and (c) where you have provided explicit written instruction for a referral.
Engagement-brief records are retained for as long as a commercial relationship is reasonably anticipated, and thereafter for the statutory record-retention periods applicable to professional advisory correspondence in India (currently eight financial years for tax and corporate compliance documentation).
Records that did not progress to engagement may be purged earlier upon a verified deletion request.
Subject to applicable law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India, you may at any time request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate or outdated data, deletion of data we are not legally obligated to retain, and withdrawal of consent for non-essential processing.

We apply institutional-grade controls including encrypted transport (TLS 1.2+), access-controlled CRM, principle of least privilege for partner workstations, and partner-level confidentiality undertakings. No internet system, however, is impervious; we do not warrant absolute security and recommend that highly sensitive information be transmitted only after the engagement letter is in place.
We may revise this policy from time to time to reflect operational, regulatory or technological changes. The effective date below will be updated accordingly. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site for a reasonable period prior to taking effect.
